in-House Body Gorgeous 16+ celebrates a new name and logo as the business moves confidently into the future. After 23 years as House of Heather, the new name and logo encapsulates the owners’ aspiration of celebrating women of all shapes and sizes, by way of designer collections created to celebrate curves and give flair, fit and femininity to women so they can feel fantastic, no matter their size.
“The enso symbolizes enlightenment, strength, and elegance; all beautiful and accurate expressions of women. The flower within represents the five elements Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water which reflect the cycle of life. We apply these expressions to our designer collections by way of our fabrics, colours, cut and style. We recognise the relationship between mind and body; looking good, feeling good and in this sense good fashion choices are very empowering. Equally, bad fashion choice can be very disempowering. As three dimensional beings, mind, body and soul, we understand that inner peace and acceptance comes when we nourish our minds and souls in a positive way, just as we must nourish our bodies for health. And feeling good physically is an exceptionally important part of this. At in-House Body Gorgeous 16+ we want to play our part in empowering women to happier and healthier lives, through uplifting, colourful and inspiring fashion, with future initiatives expanding on this.” Said Managing Director Janmaree Sinton.
The name in-House also celebrates the fact that all aspects of the business operations including the design and manufacturing of collections are handled in-House, with only the Zenzo collection being manufactured off shore.
Collections extend across the whole range of need including Special Occasions, After Five, Daywear, Casual, Lingerie and Swimwear. in-House collections are complemented by bought in labels including Not Your Daughter's Jeans, Victoria Street, Cashews, LS Collection, Extra Pepper, Swish, Fieldswomen, Coredella Street, Jean De Courcy, Genevieve and Ada.
Current stores are located in Tauranga, Taupo and Wellington, with plans for expansion. The NZ made collections are manufactured in the in-House factory in Tauranga. The in-House webpage carries all available stock, and signing up for the catalogue will bring all collections to your door.
